We’re a small, dedicated team using a well-tried format with a host of new ideas. We’ve introduced a platform for professionals and enthusiasts to choose and bid for audio/visual equipment, and the av-bay system is really simple to use.

Currently, there’s a huge demand for everything from quality used microphones to lenses. Even a reconditioned 1975 Betamax recorder has a potential buyer, although demand may be limited to the Outer Hebrides. There is a gap in the market, and we’re here to bring buyers and sellers together. All our payments are channelled through PayPal. Sellers and buyers can make their own arrangements, but at the moment PayPal is the easiest and most efficient way to pay us with confidence.

This is a one-stop shop for your audio-visual needs at competitive rates, and sellers can even have three free pictures. It doesn’t matter if items such as cameras or monitors are low or high value. It’s so easy to sign up. We ask you to register free of charge, and then you can bid or sell. You can also exchange goods and post wanted ads. Serious regular sellers can set up their own store with us, and have their own ‘home’ on the site.

Another bonus is our ‘Make Offer’ feature. This short cut means that a buyer can make a direct offer, instead of a bid, to the seller.If the seller likes the offer, the auction is closed - all bids are off - and a speedy transaction is underway.

We’ve also introduced “Buyout’. This means that the seller will definitely part with the equipment for a set price, displayed with the goods. If you’ve set your heart on an item on av-bay, our buyout clause could be the answer!
